Treatment

Generally speaking, women start the transition (perimenopause) sometime in their 40s or 50s and reach menopause after going 12 months without a period.

Menopause, in and of itself, doesn’t require treatment. However, there are treatments available for the symptoms associated with the hormonal changes. At Women’s Health Associates, we will work with you to find the treatment that works best for your individual needs.
