During your first appointment, we’ll spend time getting to know you. We’ll ask about your goals and review your medical history, including any medications and supplements you’re currently taking.
We’ll also talk about your lifestyle to get a sense of your stress levels, sleep patterns, energy levels, and exercise habits. We’ll discuss your dietary preference and cooking habits and ask you to keep a food diary of a few days’ worth of food and snacks in order to identify any trouble spots.
Our main goal in nutritional counseling is to help our patients master one of the most important prerequisites for good health: a balanced diet. Whether you hope to lose weight or manage an illness, your nutrition can mean the difference between failure and success.
